Mercedes-Benz Middle East had a unique challenge. They required a combination of centralised brand control across all markets in the region while also empowering each country to maintain their own content. We answered with a unique implementation of 40 regional sites, in English and Arabic, within a single content management system with a control engine that automatically distributes content and marketing assets across all sites. Mercedes-Benz website

Mercedes-Benz Middle East is in the process of modernising and re-structuring their online digital strategy. The aim is to establish Mercedes-Benz as the leading car brand in the online space in the Middle East.

Indivirtual Dubai was selected as a digital partner to enhance and grow the Mercedes-Benz online presence. We took a multistage approach to make sure that modern technology goes together with business. The scope of work covered:

  • Planning the information architecture (IA) by building interactive wireframe prototypes. Our usability experts made sure that all user journeys were intuitive and enriched their experience.
  • Fully responsive website design from HD to iPad resolution. Web design was based on latest trends, usability and business objectives but also aligned to the Mercedes-Benz corporate branding guidelines.
  • Website development strictly following W3C guidelines, with compatibility for the wide range of browser versions including Internet Explorer 8.
  • Implementation of a user-friendly web content management system across all sections of the site (Umbraco CMS).
  • Highly secured website hosting with 99,9% availability (ISO 27001 Information Security Certified).
  • Website Support and Maintenance with content management, bug solving, new functionalities and more.
  • Newly created digital channels are also supported with a well-structured email marketing strategy. Each website was integrated with the email marketing tool MailChimp and prominent social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and Instagram).
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). We made sure that the structure of the website and the HTML templates are Google friendly. We optimized the website following the essential SEO guidelines of having: proper page titles, description tags, friendly URLs and more. Our approach also incorporated developing an appropriate domain name strategy for all 40 websites.

Following positive reviews from the regional markets as well as customers, the project continued to deliver mobile websites for all 11 markets and will go on to deliver brand new websites for Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles Division.

The Mercedes-Benz ME website has been awarded the prestigious Gold Stevie International Business Award (see news). The Stevie Awards are the Oscars for business. Each year thousands of entries are submitted by entrants from over 60 nations worldwide.

Indivirtual also won the WebAwards – Outstanding website in Web Development as well as the Gold International Davey Award for the design and build of the Mercedes-Benz ME website (see news). The site was recognised as the best Automotive website based on its unique graphic design and ease of use based on the user-centered design principles.
